Salame de Chocolate Christmas Trees of

I DID IT! , on Sunday I ran my first half marathon (21 miles) and I'm fascinated, I took two hours, which was less than I expected to do (actually I was scared of not being able to finish the race). It was a race to the coast from Mantagua to ReƱaca, with beautiful scenery and a spectacular sea air.

This chocolate recipe I wanted to make it a long time and as I was invited to lunch I decided to do it, plus I think it's a good idea to give this Christmas.

The chocolate salami is an Italian recipe served at the end of a meal together a sweet wine or coffee. It is usually made with crackers amarettis, almonds and candied orange bits. Try this recipe out of it spontaneously use what he had: almonds, butter cookies and meringues. I remain rich mix well and you can use other cookies and other nuts.

salami to give this chocolate should be wrapped in waxed paper and decorate with a ribbon list.

CHOCOLATE Salam
16 people

· 250 g chopped dark chocolate (use one with at least 60 %, the more bitter the better)
· 180 gr unsalted butter, diced
· 100 g chopped butter cookies
· 70 g meringues tough matches
· 100 g ground almonds (not powder)
· ; 30 g finely ground almonds (powder)
· 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar

Melt chocolate with butter in double boiler or microwave on low until chocolate is melted, stir until mixture is incorporated. Cool for 10 minutes and then add the biscuits, meringues and 100 grams of almonds. Stir well and let stand at room temperature until the mixture is firm but not hard (so they can mold).

Put half the mixture on a piece of parchment paper and roll into a cylinder length. Do the same with the remaining mixture of salami. Refrigerate until rolls are firm, about 4 hours.

Mix powdered sugar with ground almonds 30 gr. Roll rolls the mixture of powdered sugar until completely covered. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
