And we start with the countdown to Christmas, which puts me nervous because I have not bought any gifts, and the days fill me with various activities without realizing it (if sitting on the computer now it feels weird.)
I love to bake cookies and share them later. I like children to help at this time and to decorate their taste their creations. I tell you I held my daughter's birthday with her friends and had them decorate cupcakes (cupcakes), do not know how well it went, until my little one was involved.
This cookie recipe is very simple, rich flavor and crunchy texture. also have a very special characteristic: they are magical, since they disappear immediately (that happened in my house). I only ask that they respect the cooling times can to uslerear and cut, but the dough is too soft to work.
I decorated the cookies with white chocolate mixed with green food coloring (especially for chocolate), but PC. can use icing. The important thing is to have fun and be creative.
Have a good weekend.
80 units (size will depend on the print)
· ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
· 1 cup sugar
· 1 egg sized
· 1 tablespoon lemon zest
· 1 tablespoon lemon juice
· ; ¼ teaspoon salt
· 1 ½ cup flour
· Chocolate, icing and everything you need to decorate the trees
Whisk first 6 ingredients to speed strong until the mixture is pale and creamy. After low speed add the flour. There will be a soft dough, if too sticky add more flour.
Divide dough into four portions and refrigerate covered (I put them in plastic bags) for 2 hours or until dough is firm.
Preheat oven to 165C. Have ready a cookie cutter shaped Christmas tree. Usle quarter of dough on a piece of paper with butter. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Clear mass of paper and put back on paper. Cut first steps with the mold and then put in a baking tray (no need to grease if nonstick pans).
Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 3 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
Decorate to taste, use your creativity.
